Legio XV WIP

Esta es la última de las legiones que tengo pensado pintar antes de irme de vacaciones, la XV Apollinaris, acantonada en el norte de Anatolia, junto a la frontera con Armenia. Las figuras son de Zvezda y Hat, de la caja de mando Imperial.

This is the las of the legions that I'm going to paint before going into holidays, the XV Apollinaris, quartered in the northern part of the Anatolian peninsula, close to the Armenian frontier. Figures are from Zvezda and Hat, from the Imperial Command box.

He elegido unos escudos de los legionarios de Esci, con alas esculpidas. El escudo es azul y blanco, ya que personalmente pienso que el azul es un color muy "apolíneo". Estoy muy contento con el resultado.

I've chosen some legionary shields from Esci, with sculpted wings. The shield is blue and white, because I personally think that blue is a very "apollinean" color. I'm very happy with the result.

El vexilla es de la caja de Hat del mando romano republicano. La figura es un grifo, que se cree es el símbolo de la legión.
