Summer Proyect

Llegó el verano, y el calor, y las vacaciones, así que ahora podré disfrutar de bastante tiempo libre para dedicarlo a las miniaturas. Antes del verano ya había estado pensando en preparar un proyecto de pintado. Me he dado cuenta de que, si tengo un proyecto definido a la vista, me resulta más fácil ponerme a pintar y preparar todo lo necesario. Por eso, este verano he decidido preparar una mesa de juego que poder llevar al Ludo Ergo Sum de este año, que se celebrará en Alcobendas.

Summer is here, and the heat, and the holidays, so now I will have enough free time to dedicate to the figures. Before summer I was thinking about preparing a painting proyect. I realized that, if I have a defined project in mind, is easy to me to paint and prepare everything. So, this summer I decided to prepare a game board to play in the game sessions of Ludo Ergo Sum.

Mi idea es crear una partida multijugador con el reglamento de Dragón Rampant, que ha sido para mí todo un descubrimiento. En la partida, dos bandos rivales se dedican a encontrar y reclutar tropas antes de enfrentarse en una épica batalla final. Para ello, cada bando comenzará en uno de los extremos de la mesa, y en su avance hacia el centro podrán ir explorando diferentes elementos de escenografía donde encontrarán unidades que se podrán unir a ellos para la batalla final.

My idea is to create a multi-player game with the rules of Dragon Rampant, a very good discovery to me. In the game, to rivals will find and recruit troops to fight a final epic battle. To do so, both factions will start in different sides of the table, and in their advance to the center they will explore different scenography to find units that will join them in the final battle.

Aún estoy esperando paquetes, pero esta es mi mesa de trabajo. Sobre la tabla de pintura, una unidad de alabarderos y otra de ballesteros mercenarios dispuestos a aliarse al mejor postor. A su lado, el grueso de los ejércitos rivales, dos grandes ejércitos de caballería. Al fondo podéis ver unas matrices del castillo de MiniArt y un bosque Citadel, que servirán para prepara la escenografía. Conforme vaya completando unidades, iré colgándolas en el blog junto con una pequeña descripción de su trasfondo en el juego.

I'm still waiting for packets, but this is my worktable now. On the painting table, mercenary halberdiers and crossbowmen ready to join the army of the best bidder. In the side, the bulk of the rival armies, two powerful knights armies. In the background, a MiniArt castle and a Citadel forest, part of the scenery I will make. As I finished units I will post them, showing a little description of its background in the game.
